WHERE: 9818-105 Street, Grande Prairie, AB – @ The Funhouse

HOW: Doors open at 630pm. Check in closes at 645pm.

Event starts at 700pm. Approximately 3 hours in duration.

UV glow mini golf, eighteen 7-minute dates on each hole. Social afterwards.

18 females and 18 males.

DRESS CODE: Smart casual dress code. No sweat/yoga pants or work attire. Get dressed or dolled up. Footwear must be clean and free from mud or snow.

COST: Event cost is $52.50 (includes GST) must be paid 72 HOURS before the event to confirm your spot.

STEP BY STEP:

1. If you would like to participate, reply to this e-mail invitation with the desired age group you would like to attend.
2. You will then be sent confirmation of request, and the deposit payment information will be sent out.
3. Make the deposit payment via your desired option and a confirmation of your seat to that event will be sent out.

 A SEAT IS CONFIRMED ONCE THE SEAT HAS BEEN PAID.

Regardless of this invite to the event, the first 18F (female) and 18M (male) to PAY for their seat BEFORE THE 72 HOUR (3 DAYS PRIOR) CUT-OFF will have a confirmed spot in the event. There is no option to wait for the day of and pay for a seat upon walking in.

Please submit payment ASAP as these events will be rescheduled if there are not enough confirmed seats 72 hours before the event date.

4. 48 hours before the event, a confirmation will be sent as to:
   1. If the age group did not have enough confirmed participants: You will receive an email with instructions for refund or to confirm the reschedule to another event.
   2. If the age group has confirmed number of participants to proceed: You will need to show this e-mail confirmation upon check-in of the event along with your government issued ID.

18 FEMALE AND 18 MALE SEATS WILL BE OPEN FOR EACH EVENT.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – agreed upon registration submission

1. DISCLAIMER. The Funhouse is not a dating agency. Our goal is to help participants to meet each other in a safe and fun environment. The Funhouse doesn’t verify the personal information of its participants, like their matrimonial status or any other personal aspects of their life in general. It’s your responsibility to sort it out with them if required.
2. ADULTS ONLY. Must be over the age of 19 years old to participate. Any false representation from a participant will result in the immediate cancellation of their registration at the event. Your identification will be verified before entry to prove requirements have been confirmed.
3. REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: Participants must have all required registration information submitted and payment made 72 hours prior to the event.
4. PRESELECTION. The Funhouse does not preselect participants registered for our events. By registering to one of our events, you accept that The Funhouse will be exonerated and cleared of any responsibility or damages that might result, directly or indirectly from your participation in one of our events in any kind of form or situation. This also includes without any limitations, damages resulting from an encounter or communications with other participants from our events.
5. RESTRICTIONS. Management reserves the right to prevent anyone from participating in any events hosted by The Funhouse when deemed necessary. In that case, registration will be voided, and a refund will be issued.
6. AGE GROUP. Your age determines your group and not the age group you would like to be in. We form groups with the ages and the number of participants registered for that event date.
7. RULES TO FOLLOW.To create a safe and comfortable evening for everyone, there are rules that must be followed:

7.1 – Any participant who do not respect these terms and conditions, and/or the rules at our events, will be made to leave the event immediately. If a participant is intoxicated before, during or after the event (during the social), they will be asked to leave and then will be banned from attending any future speed dating/friending events at The Funhouse. No refund will be issued following the expulsion of a participant, their participant sheet will be destroyed, and they will be voided for any matches.

7.2 – Be on time and be present. All phones must be switched off or put on airplane mode while participating in the speed dating /friending events.

7.3 – Smart causal dress code is required. We are shooting for comfortable and classy, not sloppy or trashy. Work clothing, sweatpants, yoga pants are not permitted. Footwear must be clean and free from mud or snow. Please keep in mind that participants play mini golf during these events as well.

7.4 – Participants are not allowed to ask other participants for their contact information. This includes last name, phone number, e-mail address, business card, or physical address.

7.5 – Participants are not allowed to ask anyone if they would like to have another date or meet up after at another location.

7.6 – Participants are not allowed to ask sexually explicit questions, use lewd language, or say anything that might be interpreted as threatening or as sexual harassment. Please be polite and respectful!

7.7 – Discrimination is not allowed and will not be tolerated during our events. For logistical purposes, you must meet all the participants in your age group regardless of their ethnicity, their language preferences, or their religion.

Bottom line, be respectful, even if you’re not interested in the person, be kind.

7.8 – You cannot take pictures of participants at the event before, during or after the speed dating/friending events.

7.9 – It is forbidden to contact fellow participants by phone, Facebook, Instagram, or any other form of social media with any participants met at the event without their express consent. Only the signed authorization on the match form with people you have matched with allows you to communicate with the other participants.

7.10 – The match form must be handed back to the event host before leaving the event. These forms are confidential and will be destroyed in a secure and in an orderly fashion after the matches are compiled and transmitted.

8. NO REFUNDS. Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance to be issued a credit for a future speed dating / friending event. If participants do not show up or show up late, there are no refunds for any reason.

EXCEPTIONS: If a speed dating/friending event is cancelled by The Funhouse, you will have the option to be issued a refund or a credit to another event. The only reason an event would be cancelled is if we do not have the qualifying number of participants to run the event.
